Of all the MP3 8GB Players we have to start with the beautiful Apple iPod touch 8GB MP3 Player, with a backlit display and aspect ratio of 16:9 on a 3.5 inch 480 x 320 pixel screen the beautiful iPod is impressive. With a battery life of 22 hrs of audio listening and 5 hrs of video you know there will be enough time for just one more movie. The amazing feature of this iPod is the built in Wi-Fi support with integrated iTunes.

Next up is the Cowon iAudio D2 8GB MP3 Player with DAB Digital Radio, this is an impressive MP3 8GB Player with an FM radio receiver built in and the ability to view txt files on the 2.5 inch screen as well as record audio directly to MP3. An alarm clock is also included. You can also use this 8GB MP3 player as a USB storage device, now thats pretty neat.

Now we have the Cowon iAudio D2 MP3 8GB Player which does not include the radio, but still offers the voice recorder, 10 hrs of battery life when playing video files and a totally fantastic 52 hrs of audio playtime, 4 days of audio on one battery charge thats very impressive. MMC & SD expansion sockets are available and you are going to need them with 52 hrs of playtime to fill.

The iRiver Clix 2 MP3 8GB Player does not have a bookmarking facility but does offer 24 hrs battery life MP3,WMA,OGG file support, an FM radio recorder and is one of the few MP3 players that still suppports old Windows versions like Windows 98 SE / ME / 2000 and also XP or Vista.

With the new Nano out we must not forget to cover the Apple iPod nano MP3 8GB Player with a 2 inch LCD display and the weird blue-white LED Backlight these multi-colured Nano’s look the business. Unfortunately they don’t come with Firewire or a FM radio tuner, but you do get ID3 MP3 title/artist tag support and support for the following codecs AAC, MP3,VBR, WAV, AIFF, Audible. An aspect ratio of 4:3 offers a decent picture on the 2 inch screen.

The Samsung YP-S5 8GB Bluetooth MP3 Player with Slide Out Speakers is impressive and you can read about the 4GB Samsung MP3 Player here. The 8GB MP3 player version offers 24 hrs battery life and a USB charger capable of recharging in 5 hrs. This model support USB 2 for fast data transfer but will also work in the older USB 1 ports. A great feature of this player is Bluetooth support for connecting to external speakers.

We arrive at the Sandisk Sansa View 8GB MP3 Player and see it offers 35 hours battery life from a rechargeable Lithium Ion battery pack and MicroSD memory expansion slots a jpeg picture viewer and bookmarking support.

Cowon iAudio 7 8GB MP3 Player offers a huge range of codecs including MP3, OGG, WMA, ASF, FLAC, WAV and MPEG4 video playback and can be used as a 8GB USB data storage device. A very decent 95 dB signal to noice ratio means you won’t hear any buzzing like you find on some cheaper units. A point worth noting is that this unit has a 3.5mm line-in jack plug for auxiliary device connection. Rock guitar connected to your MP3 anyone?

The iRiver L Player MP3 8GB Player also offers 8GB of USB data storage and folder navigation so there will be no excuse for not keeping your MP3 files organised. The built in photo viewer supports JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF I mean GIF who will be watching GIF files on their MP3 system. With a SRS Wow 3D Sound system the dynamic sound output of this unit has to be heard to be believed. With USB 1.1/2.0 this unit will suite older computers that don’t support high speed USB.

We are over half way now, so we better cover the iRiver E100 8GB MP3 Player this offers every conceivable version of ID3 tag support known to man ID3 V1 Tag, id3 v2 2.0, id3 v2 3.0 and id3 v2 4.0 and a MicroSD slot I’m assuming for all that tag information. This unit also displays JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF with PNG support should you ever have a need to view website graphics on your MP3 player!

Samsung YP-T10 8GB Bluetooth MP3 Player supports text only bookmarking and a FM recorder which sounds nice but does anyone ever use the recorder on their player. This 8GB MP3 player comes with special effects called street mode, clarity and sound feedback, I thought sound feedback was to be avoided!

The Creative ZEN 8GB MP3 Player uses secure digital cards for extra storage and a very good range of video playback MJPEG, WMV9, MPEG4-SP, DivX 4/5 and XviD with DivX being especially welcome.

Meizu Mini Player SL 8GB MP3 Player this one is fun with a 2.4″ TFT screen and some cool extras including e-book facility, alarm clock, calculator, calendar & games.

Netac A210 8GB FM Transmitter MP3 Player offers Linux support a 2.4.2 kernel will be required also supported is Windows 98/Me/2000/XP and Mac 9.x/X.

Finally we have the Sumvision Ice 1000 Touch Screen 8GB MP3 Player with a touch screen 7 Mode EQ and a not bad 10 hrs audio playback.

There are 15 MP3 8GB Player devices currently available and if you have read this far we have covered them all.

This full breakdown of all 15 MP3 8GB players should be a good basis for you to decide what you are looking for and which models to exclude.

Creative has taken over the world with its Zen series MP3 players. These devices are known to host certain features that are not found in other contending products. Some of them will be listed in the coming passages. The Creative Zen MP3 players are known to support all the common audio formats like MP3 and WMA. However, some characteristics are unique to these products.

a) Expandable Memory: Even on these days, MP3 manufacturers are known to release products with limited memory capabilities. Creative strives to be different from the niche by including expandable memory capabilities in products like the Creative Zen Xi-F2. Instead of the bulky SD memory slot, the same model is now released with a Micro SD slot. In other terms, the form factor is reduced due to these internalizations.

b) Touch screen operation: The current generation is vying for products incorporating touch screen technologies. One will be able to find them in mobile phones and various other electronic gadgets. Creative Zen Xi-F2 is known to embody the same touch screen technology. The usual keypad layout is out of the scene, as of now. Merely, by touching the suitable interface, consumers will be able to control the operation of the MP3 player.

c) The incorporation of video capabilities: Even though Creative is known to be a pioneer in the manufacture of MP3 players, some of their recent models include both audio and video abilities. Do not conclude that this is some run-of-the-mill technology. Creative incorporates a minimum of 1.8″ display, along with stereo audio out (with dual speakers). The player, likewise, supports a wide range of video formats.

d) Wireless capabilities: The recent players from Creative include wireless capabilities in the form of Wi-Fi. Instead of carrying lengthy cables, one will be able to transfer multimedia files easily, using this technology. Bear in mind that not all the Creative Zen MP3 players are wireless-enabled.

e) Including record inbuilt storage capabilities: When you are provided with a MP3 player that comes with 32GB inbuilt flash memory capabilities, will you opt for optional expandable memory? Certainly, no. The flash memory size that is included with certain Creative Zen Mp3 players amounts up to a whopping 32GB. This should be more than ample to save all those songs and video, along with other important files.

f) Compatibility with alternative software programs: Most of the MP3 players that are released by competition include proprietary software – with the help of which consumers will be able to transfer multimedia files. The Creative Zen MP3 players are compatible with proprietary software programs as well as open-source programs. This is a huge advantage over the others. In case you do not like the included sync program, you can always start using another software to keep the device updated.

g) Sturdy build quality: All the models from the stables of Creative come with immaculate build quality; something which is absent in the line of products released by the competitors.

Creative Zen is a leading brand in mp3 players. You can purchase Creative Zen Mp3 players at reasonable prices from Minidisc.com.au

Most people commonly recognise the 5 major senses of Sight, Hearing, Taste, Smell and Touch. Although it is a simplified view of how the body works it is a useful framework to group the major ways we experience the world around us.

By helping to relax each sense systematically and then by linking the experience between each sense we can achieve a state of complete relaxation. Each sense individually can contribute to stress reduction but when all senses are soothed at the same time the effects are so much deeper.

It is best to practice this in a relaxed posture like sitting or lying and never try this when your attention is needed elsewhere (like driving or looking after children). I’d recommend setting an alarm so you don’t need to check the clock and can even drift off to sleep if you so wish.

Relaxation By Sight

The dominant sense for most of people is sight. So relax that sense first for maximum effect. Our eyes build up stress and strain each day. You can give them a rest by closing them and placing a simple cold compress on them (some people like to use cucumber slices) or maybe cotton wool moistened with a small amount of cold water.

Relaxation By Hearing

Listening to certain sounds has a powerful effect on our minds and physiology. Most people have a song that, when they hear it, makes them feel like tapping their feet or dancing or songs that make them happy or feel reflective.

Humans have a powerful affinity to sound. Music (as rhythmic drumming) is thought to have preceded even cave painting as a form of expression.

Finding effective relaxation music, preferably at an appropriate rhythm to match your resting heart rate – for many this can be approximated to 60 beats per minute is a great way to unwind. Combine this with spoken word therapies like relaxation hypnotherapy or guided visualization and you have a very powerful means of unwinding.

Relaxation By Taste

Some people find comfort food a great way of unwinding but often the foods we crave are in fact high in fat or salts and can leave us feeling uncomfortable.

One of the easiest ways to unwind and refresh is to cleanse our palate (refresh our sense of taste) this can easily be achieved by a light (milk free) infusion of your favourite tea, preferably decaffeinated like Camomile or Rooibus, at a warm but not hot temperature.

Relaxation By Smell

Fresh lavender can be very relaxing. By placing it near a pillow when unwinding you can further enhance your deep relaxation.

Relaxation By Touch

Head massage will help relieve tension around the muscles in the neck and jaw. Start at the back of the head and massage in slow circles up from the top of the neck. Repeat several times with wider slow sweeping circles varying the pressure from medium to very light.

With the tips of the first three fingers on each hand apply a very light pressure on the point where your jaw meets your skull, just below and behind your cheekbones. With a very light pressure roll your fingers back and forth along the join and then slowly down towards your chin with a sweeping motion.

The Final And Most Important Stage (One that many people forget)

Recognise the benefit of the relaxation process. It’s not just enough to relax once you need to make time in your diary to regularly let go of your tension and embrace that luxurious feeling of deep relaxation. Getting a great deep relaxation CD can be a great way to make the time and exclude distractions. It’s so easy to schedule time for unwinding. Put it in your diary, starting maybe only once or twice a week for 10 or 15 minutes, working towards a daily relaxation session as you get more proficient.

Ben Clinch has helped hundreds of people achieve deep relaxation through inner-vision relaxation hypnotherapy products available at http://www.innerv.net/deep-relaxation.html.

On this particular day, I did not feel like I was living life to the fullest. I was organizing some things in 100-degree heat, sweating profusely and, to be honest, feeling a little martyr-like. Then, I began to remind myself that God appreciates my obedient service to Him whether anyone else ever even knows what I did.

The last thing on my mind was that I was living life to the fullest. You’ve probably thought… “Does anyone care that I’ve changed a dozen diapers of a sick baby today? Does anyone see the extra effort I put into our family meal? Does anyone know the extra hours I spent at work to make sure all the lose ends were tied up before the weekend? Does anyone care that I spend extra hours preparing to minister to the children at church?”

I would venture a guess to say that obscurity is one of our greatest fears – the idea that very few will ever know or care about my wisp-of-a-life spent here on this planet. I believe we feel this way because there is a God-given desire living in each of us that wants to have an impact on our world.

We have the invitation to allow ourselves to be transformed to be more and more like Christ, who lived life to the fullest more than anyone.

In our search for filling our God-given need for significance, meaning, purpose…. we tend toward going down the self-actualization road. Focus on your talents, your career, your expertise, your network, your skills, your potential, your needs, your future – is the battle-cry of our success-driven culture. Yet, the extraordinarily-lived life of Christ had nothing to do with his self-discovery and everything to do with Him losing Himself in God’s will and plan for his life.

Let’s stay focused on finding our deepest and most fulfilling joy through sacrificing our our lives up in true worship. Then, we will shine with Christ-like beauty and, at the end of our days, we’ll be able to truly say, “I have lived life to the fullest!”

The Bible is filled with God’s promises for you. The question is, when will you see His promises manifest themselves in your own personal life? When can you expect God’s promises and blessings to show up at your doorstep?

I am going to give you the answer right now: You can expect all of God’s promises every day and every moment of your life. You might receive His gifts and blessings right at this very moment as you read this article.

James 1:17 (New King James)

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

First, God’s gifts to you are always good and perfect. God never gives you second class gifts. His gifts will always be good and perfect for you. They will be a blessing to you. They will make you happy. They will increase and prosper you and they will satisfy you in your innermost being.

Secondly, God is eager to poor His blessings and gifts out over you. We read in James that every good and perfect gift comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

Other translations say: ‘who does not change like shifting shadows’.

Now get this! Here is the picture: There is a sundial in the sand. It’s a stick in the sand. And as the sun moves from rising to going down, the shadow of the stick turns. There is always a shifting shadow. Except for one time in the day there is NO shadow at all. What time of day is that? It is at high noon. When the sun is at its highest point there is no turning shadow, there is no shadow at all.

God is telling you, that He is always on His peak, the zenith! Rejoice, my friends, because God is ALWAYS on the highest point. He is always ready to pour His good and perfect gifts and blessing into your life. He is always there! No sunrise and no sundown! He is never too tired to attend to you needs. He is never bothered by your requests! He is never occupied with other important tasks! He is always ready to pour His goodness into your life. Always, every moment of the day.

If I would be preaching this right now, I would make my audience shout a loud Hallelujah!

I want you to expect the goodness of the Lord at any time in your life. No matter what your circumstances are, expect the good and perfect gift from God in your life. Look for them! I am not talking just about the great and extraordinary things. I am talking about every little good thing that happens in your life. It is God pouring out His good gift over you. Be thankful and you will experience more and more of His goodness.

In closing I want you to ponder on the following scriptures that talk about His promises.

2 Corinthians 1:20:

“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.”

The YES is God’s guaranty and your AMEN is you accepting that promise for your life

Romans 11:29:

“For God’s gifts (His promises to you) and his call are irrevocable”

They are good forever! There is no expiry date or ‘best before’ stamp on God’s promises.

Psalm 31:19:

“How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.”

God loves to lavish His goodness on you to show everybody around you that you are His child.

When can you expect God’s promises, His gifts and goodness in your life? I pray that by now you are absolutely convinced that you can expect them every moment.

Why don’t you make the scripture verses that I shared with you in this article the confession of your faith? Embrace the promises of God on a daily basis.

The prophet Isaiah in chapter 61:1-3 revealed the ministry of our Lord Jesus.

The Year of the LORD’s Favour

1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,

because the LORD has anointed me

to preach good news to the poor.

He has sent me to bind up the broken-hearted,

to proclaim freedom for the captives

and release from darkness for the prisoners,

2 to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favour

and the day of vengeance of our God,

to comfort all who mourn,

3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion

Whether you know it or not, we all have a spirit guide watching over us. It is waiting in the wings to care for you during times of contentment, distress, unhappiness, or disorder.

If you did not know that there is such thing as a spirit guide it is important to realize that the it really does exist and that you have the power capitalize on it to your maximum advantage. If you do capitalize, you are sure to see a positive change in your life and you will much less frequently feel distressed or unhappy.

There was a point in my life where many negative things were happening to me. I could not figure it out. So, I began searching. This is when I found out about the spirit guide and how it could be beneficial for me.

An easy way to describe the spirit guide is like this – it is like a gut feeling or intuition, but these gut feelings are actually the power of our spirit guide.

So, this is when I was introduced to the exceptional spirit guide binaural beat recording AND that is when I came to understand more about how it can help me.

You see, everyone has one of these guides. It is simply a departed soul that hovers near us to help take care of us and guard us from any wrong or unconstructive energy that may fall upon us.

They never aim to hurt us and are there at each moment of our lives when we are stuck at a crossroad pondering what to do.

Ever since I first learned about the spirit guide and how to harness its power, I always consult it prior to making any big decisions and since that time things have been constantly improving. The binaural beat recording I mentioned before is how I really discovered my guide. The recording helps you to get to a state of inner consciousness and inner peace (what is called a mid theta level frequency).

Regarding using the binaural beats to contact your guide, the binaural beats help with dozens of life issues such as sleep, energy, creativity, memory, achievement, motivation, prosperity, relaxation, weight control, health, addiction, stress, telepathy, endorphin release and much more.

Cassette Tapes have been widely replaced by the CDs and for lots of people, MP3 files are perfect format as Mp3 Files provide great sound quality and takes lesser space on your hard disk or CD. I really don’t need to say anything about the popularity of Mp3 files. This format is extremely popular and supported by almost all portable devices like iPod, iRiver, Creative Zen, Mobile phones etc..

It is a great idea to convert your Tapes to Mp3 files or CD. This way you can preserve your records as well as carry your favorite music anywhere with you.

Converting Tapes To Mp3 means, you need to record your tapes into your computer. It is very easy and now let me tell you how to convert audio cassettes tapes to Mp3 format without any hassles. Please do these things step by step and there is no way you’ll face any problems :-

1. First of all, you need a recording software to record from your cassette player. You might use Windows Sound Recorder but unfortunately, it doesn’t support recordings larger than 1 minute. Therefore, practically Windows Sound Record is of no use If you want to use it for recording audio cassettes into Mp3 format. There are other software available for this purpose and I’ll discuss this later in the article.

2. You need to connect Headphone out (or Line Out) jack of your tape player to Line In jack of your computer’s sound card with a Stereo to Stereo cable having 1/8″ plugs on each end. Ask for this cable at Radio Shack or nearby hardware stores. You should get this cable very easily and cheap. This cable will act as a medium of transferring audio data from your tape player to your computer’s sound card.

3. Run the recording software and select “Line In” recording source and start recording the output of cassette player. You can also monitor the recording.

4. Once the recording is done, break the files so that you can get a separate file for an individual song. If you save the whole file, all the tracks will be in one file and you’ll face problem when you’ll want to hear a particular song. You won’t be able to walk between different songs so make sure to break up the recorded file while converting cassette tapes to mp3.

5. After breaking the file into individual songs, you can either burn an Audio CD or an MP3 CD. You can also just save MP3 on your hard disk and transfer them to a player of your choice.

Please note that MP3 format is a compressed format and make sure that you use higher bit rates to save the recorded file. Higher bit rates will save the resultant mp3 file in excellent quality.

My father has got a box full of cassette tapes and he almost forgot that. I converted those Tapes To MP3 files myself and inserted the MP3 CD into his car’s CD player. He is greatly delighted to listen his favorite music again. This is the software I used to convert Cassettes to MP3. This software supports a whole lot of features including burning CDs. Give this a shot and make your parents proud on you!
